Grand Lodge of BC & Yukon

Freemasonry has been described as a system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. This, of course, creates more questions than it supplies answers. Freemasonry has also been described as a group of men who have dedicated their lives to becoming better men and making their community a better place. This website has been designed to answer just about any question you might have about Freemasonry.

Trestleboard

The Trestleboard in District 9 of Freemasonry serves as a vital communication and organizational tool, embodying both the rich symbolic tradition and the practical needs of the lodges within the district. Historically, a trestleboard is akin to an architect's blueprint; in Masonry, it symbolically represents the plan for moral and ethical living, as laid out by the Grand Architect of the Universe. For District 9, the Trestleboard takes on a more pragmatic role, acting as a comprehensive calendar of events and a schedule for lodge meetings.
